Story
A well knit tale, the story begins with the life of retired colonel Lakshmipathy Raju (rao ramesh) who lives peacefully along with his large family in the Konaseema area. He has a darling daughter Kavya (saranya), a doctor in the city and he wants to see her married to a perfectionist. However, Kavya is already in love with Karthik (krishnudu), the kindergarten teacher and she returns to her home. Just when she decides to reveal about her affair, Karthik arrives at her place. The very sight of Karthik puts off Kavya's family and most importantly, the colonel. From then on, Karthik tries to convince Kavya's family and also there is Bhaskaram (yendamuri), colonel's friend giving wrong advises. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Presentation
The director has come up with a decent storyline and both his presentation and narrative are neat. The dialogues are witty, the script has been written well and the screenplay was apt. Background score was good and the songs were a major highlight. Cinematography deserves a pat on the back, editing has been crisp. Costumes were natural and the locations were mind blowing. Krishnudu carries off the role very well and this time he plays a subdued role. Saranya looks very sweet and her eyes do most of the talking. She looks homely but then she has to put on some weight to look appealing. Rao Ramesh was strong and effective, Yendamoori was impressive, Bharath was strong and carried out his role as required. The others contributed well to the movie.
Conclusion
Though the film doesn't have the voltage or the energy levels like the first part 'Vinayakudu', the film has got enough ingredients to go through the success mark. The first half is interesting and passes of smoothly, the second half slows down a bit and the climax is abrupt but overall, the film has enough to give the audience the required laughs. The film is ideal for family audience and even the multiplex folks would like it. The film is technically well made and with fine performances, this is sure to score a hit.
